 h Celebration this year! The Denton Juneteenth Celebration Committee serve
 s as a non-profit volunteer group whose mission is to actively preserve an
 d promote the broad spectrum of African American heritage through educatio
 nal and cultural activities that benefits the City of Denton community. Th
 e Committee is planning various events and activities for the whole family
  for June 16th - 17th at Fred Moore Park. This year's attendance is expect
 ed to reach 5\,000\, with people coming from throughout the community and 
 surrounding areas. \n\nDenton High Cares will have a booth at the park on 
 Friday evening\, June 16\, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Come by and to meet
  us and hear about what we are doing to help the Denton High School Family
 !\n\nWe will also participate in the parade on Saturday morning\, June 17\
 , at 9:00 a.m.\, starting at the Civic Center and ending at the Martin Lut
 her King\, Jr. Recreation Center. Look for us and give us a shout as we pa
